The African American Cultural Heritage Short Course (AACHSC) is a celebration of the African American experience in Southern NJ and the Greater Atlantic City area. The event is centered around history, culture, art, music, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social movement. Our theme for 2024 is “Reaching Back: Pulling the Younger Generations Forward”. This year's goal is to transition the event and symbolize a shift in the "greater community leadership" to a younger audience by engaging intergenerational programming and idea sharing.

The 2024 AACHSC is all new! New presenters, new format, and new workshops will be combined with past favorites, such as the "Black Business Expo & Book Fair". This year we will follow a "Round Robin" format, meaning each participant will attend all four workshops (or tracks) during the day in rotating order. For example, "Group A" will start with Track 1, 2, 3, and 4 in order, while "Group B" will start Track 2, etc. At the conclusion of the event, all four groups will have rotated completely, participating in all four sessions. All participants will simply register for the event and experience all four workshops, the keynote speaker, closing speaker, "expo", breakfast, and lunch.

Learn more about the presenters, workshops, the Black Business Expo, and more at stockton.edu/aachsc.

Are you experiencing an uptick of clients who are non-monogamous? Are you hearing more clients talk about polyamory, open relationships, play partners, or that are curious about these dynamics? Does the relationship therapy you provide now include 3,4, (or more!) partners? Then this workshop is for you. As ethical non-monogamy has gained increased visibility and acceptance in recent years, there is much to learn about what it is, what it isn't, and how to best work with clients who are either considering exploring ENM, or already identify as ENM. Please note: This workshop will be offered over two 3-hour sessions (6 hours total) in concurrent weeks. Participants should be able to complete both sessions for full workshop content.
